Jul. 17, 2010gravelpitThat was really fun! Thank you very much. Just stunning scenery and a good climb and descent challenge in the default Maule Orion with Skis, which I though was perfect with the Swiss registration. Pretty sweet with Real Weather too.

Dec. 27, 2007bmolonyThe correct departure field is LSZC Buochs, Buochs, Switzerland. I flew the FSX Baron using real world weather--celing 1900' but clear above that altitude. The departure was rather foggy so I stayed under the ceiling flying just above the lake on an easterly heading and then turning south. Once I reached the end of the lake, the fog cleared somewhat and I began gaining altitude as I followed the valleys. That turned out rather important as I was gradually forced higher as the mountains closed in. I eventually reached approximately 7K as I found a pass that put me on a southeasterly approach to the destination field. I cut power and added full flaps to keep my airspeed reasonable during a rather steep dive. Then a final dogleg in the approach put me dead center on the runway. Super nice Alpine vistas and a nice little challenge near the end made for an excellent short hop. Thanks for sharing the suggestion!
