Flight description:As I stated in another post for a flight to Melbourne. Richmond RAAF Base 50kms from Sydney Kingsford Smith International is being touted as Sydney's 2nd Airport. In a series of events I will be uploading flights out of the RAAF base to various destinations and gives you some what of a overview what to expect should Government policy goes forthwith. Generally departure is from Runway 10 - once vectored on auto pilot and positioned bearing you will overfly some of Sydney's unique rural suburbs such as Dural, Galston. Overpassing Hawkesbury River heading over Mangrove Mountain, Wollombi passing over Cessnock and the Hunter Valley Vineyards across Maitland passing west of Newcastle, Taree before commencing descent nearby Kempsey and Port Macquarie. I recommend landing on Runway 21 unique approach across water and landing straight in especially at sunset!
